CACST Community Health Care Mission Statement:

"CACST Community Health Centers will continue to provide affordable, accessible and quality health care to area residents through a service delivery system tailor-made to meet local needs. The centers will continue to adopt and implement policies and procedures based on respect, trust, relationship, performance and accountability."

CACST Community Health Care Vision Statement:

"A healthy community for all residents is our most fervent goal."

The CACST operates six Community Health Centers (CHC) throughout the five county service area. The CHC's provide health care, immunizations, family planning, women's health, moderate laboratory, pharmacy and referrals for dental and mental health services. CACST accepts Medicaid, Medicare, most insurance plans and also has available competitive fees for laboratory services and pharmaceuticals. CACST also applies a sliding fee scale (based on the Federal Income Poverty Guidelines) to patients who qualify. No one is denied a doctor's visit due to inablity to pay.

Minimum doctor's visit fee is $30.00

CACST Community Health Centers are Federally Qualified Health Centers and are funded in part by DHHS Health Resources Services Administration.

The Health Services Programs also include the Health Start Project and the Intergrated Eligibility and Enrollment (IEE) Program.

Healthy Start is available for women who are pregnant and need help with:

  • Making prenatal appointments
  • Baby apointments/referrals
  • Obtaining health insurance
  • Childbirth classes/healthy babies

Intergrated Eligibility and Enrollment workders are available to help the public in filling out applications for various projects including but not limited to:

  • Medicaid
  • Medicare
  • TANF
  • CHIP
  • CHIP Perinate
  • Women Health Wavier
